CICU Executive Committee Interacted with Sh. Som Parkash Union Minister, Commerce and Industry, Govt. of India

Today, A Zoom meeting was organized by CICU with Sh. Som Parkash Union Minister, Commerce and Industry, Govt. of India. The committee discussed the various problems being faced by the industry due to COVID-19 lockdown.
These following major points was discussed in the zoom meeting:
- Govt. should give industry some relief package 10 percent of Turnover so that they can survive.
- Due to industry crisis MSMEs cannot able to pay worker salary in lockdown period it should be paid by ESI dept.
- RBI should enhance 20% of working capital. And reduce rate of Interest
- Some export related issues.like export incentive to be increased
- GST Return should be extended for 3 Months. Gst rate to be reduced
- Testing of COVID-19 of Workers should be on fast mode, so industry can work safely.
- Govt should extend Export interest Sub-venation, so industry can plan for loan accordingly.
- Govt. should seek new Export opportunities with another countries Govt.
10, Vehicle scrap policy to be implementer soon
The Zoom meeting was attended by S. Upkar Singh Ahuja, President CICU, Sh R.C Ralhan, Ashok Juneja, Jaswinder Bhogal, Rajat Gupta, Charanjeet Vishavkarma Jatinder Mittal, Sarvjit Singh ,Ashok Juneja ,A,K.Kohli and other prominent Industrialists. Minister Assured that he will take up the matter and he assured full support to Industry from the government.
