TIMTOS-2023 – India Taipei Association discussed various aspects like strengthening Punjab Industry

CICU Delegation during the visit of TIMTOSS-2023, Taiwan, interacted with  Mr. Gourangalal Das, Director General, India Taipei Association, and Mr. Dhananjay Singh Yadav, Deputy Director General, India Taipei Association discussed various aspects like strengthening Punjab Industry.

  1. Upkar Singh Ahuja, President, CICUmentioned that a high-level CICU Delegation comprising 20 Business Owners visited TIMTOS-2023 held in Taipei, Taiwan.

The delegation visited the exhibition and saw the latest technologies being exhibited by the exhibitors.

Sh. Didarjit Singh, Vice President, CICU shared that a detailed discussion was held with Mr. Gourangalal Das, Director General, India Taipei Association, and Mr. Dhananjay Singh Yadav, Deputy Director General, India Taipei Association.

The following key points were discussed:

  • Bilateral trade between India and Taiwan.
  • Joint events between YBL (CICU) and Young Entrepreneurs (Taiwan)
  • Indian Govt. to start FTA with Taiwan.
  • Support to mature deals with Taiwanese Companies.
  • Invited them to support Mach Auto to invite Exhibitors and Visitors.
  • support to invest big Taiwanese companies in India.
  • Machine Controls, Roller Guideways, to reduce input costs of machine tool builders.
  • CICU requested authorities to help Indian buyers to check the financial ratings of suppliers.
  • Technology sharing agreements and JVs.
  • All best possible support to CICU.
  • India Pavilion in TIMTOS to promote Indian manufacturers.
  • Add TIMTOS to the list of Sale promotions & Quality Improvements under Government supported in Exhibitions.

Mr. Major Singh from Jaewoo requests them to support an intermediate Joint Venture / Technology Share agreement for quality improvement of machines in India to strengthen Make in Ludhiana and Make in India.

Mr. Gaurangalal Das, Ambassador of India in Taiwan assured that he will support the Indian Industry in terms of development, Joint Ventures, and sharing best practices and invites the Taiwan companies to invest in India.
