There is great news for air passengers traveling from Punjab to Abu Dhabi. Direct flight service from Sri Guru Ramdas Ji International Airport in Amritsar to Abu Dhabi is going to start from 29th October 2026. This flight of Air India Express will be operated thrice a week. The flight will depart from Amritsar at 8:40 pm on Thursday, Saturday and Sunday and reach Abu Dhabi at 11:50 pm. The return flight will depart from Abu Dhabi at 12:55 am on Friday, Sunday and Monday and reach Amritsar at 6:15 am. This direct service will provide special benefits to workers, families and business travelers of Punjab. Now, passengers will need to take a flight from Delhi or travel further via Dubai/Sharjah to go to Abu Dhabi. This is expected to save both travel time and cost. With the new service, the number of weekly flights from Amritsar to UAE is also expected to reach 31.
