On the occasion of Independence Day, 12 officers and employees of Punjab Police will be honoured with the President’s Police Medal for their distinguished service. Inspector Baljit Singh will be given the President’s Police Medal for Distinguished Service, while 11 other officers will be honoured with the Meritorious Service Medal. The honourees include IGP Babulal Meena, IGP S. Bhupathi, DSP Subhash Chand, DSP Jasvir Singh, DSP Karnail Singh, DSP Sanjeev Kumar, ACP Gagandeep Singh and other officers and employees. These awards are given for long-term dedication, excellent performance and exceptional services in the police department.
