An important hearing was held in the Amritsar court today in the case of FIR No. 91 registered against Shiromani Akali Dal senior leader Bikram Singh Majithia and his supporters. During the hearing, the court gave a big relief to Majithia and extended his anticipatory bail and fixed the next hearing of the case for July 3. After the hearing, Advocate Pradeep Saini said that Majithia had joined the investigation at Majitha police station on June 20, following the court orders. On the other hand, the status report submitted by the police in the court claimed that Majithia did not fully cooperate during the investigation. Keeping in mind the arguments of both the parties on this matter, the court adjourned the hearing and continued interim relief to Majithia. Now, during the next hearing to be held on July 3, there is a possibility of further discussion in this matter.
