In a major operation at Mumbai airport, the Customs Department arrested famous model and runner-up of the ‘Mrs. Kerala’ contest Harsha Sunny with hydroponic cannabis worth Rs 11.82 crore. 12 vacuum-sealed packets were recovered from Harsha’s trolley bag, which was returning from Bangkok. During interrogation, she claimed that a person had given her the bag to take to India as a friendship and she was unaware of the contents inside. Currently, the Customs Department has registered a case under the NDPS Act and sent her to judicial custody and is investigating her possible links with an international drug racket.
