The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has taken a major action in Punjab. The ED raided Western Towers located in Chhajju Majra near Kharar in Mohali, which is being discussed for its connection with Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann’s OSD. According to sources, this raid was conducted in flat number 906 of a person named Nitin Kumar, where bags full of cash were found during the search.
According to the information received, when the raid was launched, a bag was thrown down from the 9th floor, which was picked up by the driver standing below. During this, several notes were also seen flying in the air. The investigating agencies later seized the bag containing the cash. Residents of the society say that a large number of couriers used to come to Nitin Kumar’s flat every day, who were often received by his driver. Currently, the ED’s raid and investigation are ongoing.
The opposition parties have also started surrounding the Aam Aadmi Party on this matter. Bikram Singh Majithia claimed that corruption is happening in the name of ‘stubborn honesty’ and many people associated with Rajbir Ghuman are on the ED’s radar. He also said that Hawala transactions and important documents are being investigated. On the other hand, Partap Singh Bajwa said that now the truth will come out or the political ‘washing machine’ will wash all the stains, time will tell.
