Former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal today made a major political announcement, saying that his party will contest the upcoming assembly elections in Bihar alone and form the government.
Talking to the media, Kejriwal, who is on a visit to Gujarat, said, “We will fight the elections alone in Bihar, win and form the government. We have done this in Punjab too, and next time our government will be formed there too. In Gujarat too, we will win the elections and form the government in the coming days.”
Questioning the functioning of the Election Commission in Bihar, Kejriwal said, “What the Election Commission is doing in Bihar is not right. Impartiality is the most important thing in a democracy and the Election Commission should play an impartial role.”
This statement by Kejriwal can not only create a new stir in Bihar politics, but also points to the aggressive strategy of the Aam Aadmi Party in the 2025 assembly elections.
Kejriwal has also made it clear that he is with the All India Alliance for the Lok Sabha elections but we are fighting the assembly elections separately.
