India defeated South Korea 4-1 in the title match of Hockey Asia Cup 2025. India had a great start in the final, Sukhjit scored in the first minute. After this, the pressure on Korea continued to increase. Korea was seen defending throughout the match and Indian players were seen in attacking mode. Along with becoming champions, the Indian hockey team has also qualified for the World Cup to be held in Belgium and the Netherlands next year. This is India’s fourth Hockey Asia Cup title.
In the second quarter, Dilpreet Singh scored in the 28th minute to put India ahead 2-0. In the 44th minute of the third quarter, he scored the second goal to take the team’s score to 3-0. In the 48th minute, Amit Rohidas scored from a penalty corner to give India a strong 4-0 lead. However, in the 51st minute, Dan Son scored from a penalty corner for Korea to make the score 4-1.
