News Punjab
Ludhiana, may 8 -Today the meeting was held by different different sectors small scale association President & General Secretary regarding the permission to run the industries of mix land use area. In Mix Land Use Area there are more than 50% of the industries which are manufacturing different different parts of whole products. During the COVID-19 these industries are shut down and till date there is no permission given either by State Government or centre Government to run these industries. On the other hand the Government has given permission to run the industries which are situated at Industrial area or the industries which are located outside Municipal Corporation are by applying the guidelines to protect the labour from COVID-19.
The industries which are situated at mix land use area feed the big industries which are situated at industrial area. If the small industries will not run then how can the big industries will run. It will run till the material is inside their premises then automatically those industries will stop work due to lack of material. Most of the revenues is being generated through the industries which are situated at mix land use area. As now the Government is in need of fund s which can be generated through small industries only. Secondly the labours are sitting idle and they have not got sufficient money to feed themselves and are waiting for the opportunity to go back to their hometowns. So if the mix land use area industries will run then the labour will get work and automatically the revenues will be generated for the Government. In mix land use area each industries have not more than 2 to 10 labourer. So here the social distancing can be made easily. All the guidelines of COVID-19 can be followed in each industries easily.
So it is our humble request from the state Government as well as centre Government to give the permission to run the industries which are situated in mix land use area by applying the guidelines of COVID-19. If the permission is given to run these industries then Revenues will be generated as well as labour will get the job to work.
