ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ, 2 ਮਾਰਚ – ਪੰਜਾਬ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਵਲੋਂ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਨੂੰ ਨਸ਼ਾ ਮੁਕਤ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਰਾਜ ਪੱਧਰੀ ਘੇਰਾਬੰਦੀ ਅਤੇ ਤਲਾਸ਼ੀ ਮੁਹਿੰਮ ਚਲਾਈ ਗਈ ਹੈ, ਰੇਂਜ ਏਡੀਜੀਪੀ/ਆਈਜੀਪੀ/ਡੀਆਈਜੀ ਅਤੇ ਸੀਪੀ/ਐਸਐਸਪੀ ਵਲੋਂ ਹਰੇਕ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਸ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਦੀ ਨਿੱਜੀ ਤੌਰ ‘ਤੇ ਨਿਗਰਾਨੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ ।

ਪੰਜਾਬ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਅਧਿਕਾਰਿਤ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ

✅ 290 ਨਸ਼ਾ ਤਸਕਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ; 232 ਐਫਆਈਆਰ ਦਰਜ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਗਈਆਂ

✅ ਨਸ਼ੀਲੇ ਪਦਾਰਥ ਜ਼ਬਤ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ:

🔹 8.14 ਕਿਲੋਗ੍ਰਾਮ ਹੈਰੋਇਨ

🔹 1.21 ਕਿਲੋਗ੍ਰਾਮ ਅਫੀਮ

🔹 3.5 ਕਿਲੋਗ੍ਰਾਮ ਗਾਂਜਾ

🔹 19 ਕਿਲੋਗ੍ਰਾਮ ਭੁੱਕੀ

🔹 700 ਗ੍ਰਾਮ ਚਰਸ

🔹 16,238 ਨਸ਼ੀਲੀਆਂ ਗੋਲੀਆਂ/ਟੀਕੇ/ ਕੈਪਸੂਲ

✅ ₹8.02 ਲੱਖ ਡਰੱਗ ਮਨੀ ਬਰਾਮਦ

✅ 8000+ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਕਰਮਚਾਰੀਆਂ ਸਮੇਤ 900+ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਟੀਮਾਂ ਵਲੋਂ 369 ਡਰੱਗ ਹੌਟਸਪੌਟਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਘੇਰ ਕੇ ਤਲਾਸ਼ੀ ਲਈ ਗਈ।

Yudh Nashian Virudh: Punjab Police’s War Against Drugs

Punjab Police launched a state-wide operation to make Punjab drug-free.

Range ADGPs/IGPs/DIGs and CPs/SSPs personally supervised this operation in each police districts.

✅ 290 drug smugglers arrested; 232 FIRs registered

✅ Drugs seized:

🔹 8.14 kg heroin

🔹 1.21 kg opium

🔹 3.5 kg ganja

🔹 19 kg poppy husk

🔹 700 grams charas

🔹 16,238 intoxicant tablets/pills/injections

✅ ₹8.02L drug money recovered

✅ 900+ police teams comprising over 8000+ police personnel cordoned off 369 drug hotspots.

This decisive action is part of Punjab Police’s commitment to uproot drugs from the state.
