Amritsar Police’s major operation, 10 kg heroin recovered from a person, 1 arrested

Amritsar Police achieved success when acting on intelligence information, CI Amritsar arrested Harmandeep Singh from Mahal village, Amritsar and also recovered 10 kg heroin from him. Punjab D. G. P. Gaurav Yadav has shared information about this.

DGP Gaurav Yadav said that the arrested accused Harmandeep Singh was constantly in touch with Pakistan-based smuggler Chacha Bawa, who used to send heroin through drones to Attari sector for further distribution. An FIR has been registered under the NDPS Act and investigation is being carried out to identify other accomplices.

Meanwhile, the DGP said that Punjab Police is committed to its resolve to eradicate drug trafficking and ensure a safe Punjab.
