Heroin recovered from Activa Sual in Ludhiana, accused arrested with 1 kg 20 grams heroin

ANTF Ludhiana Range achieved a major success when an accused named Gurpreet Singh alias Titu was arrested from Janata Nagar area with 1 kg 20 grams of heroin while he was going to supply the drug.

Let us tell you that in 2022, the NCB had arrested Akshay Chhabra and Sandeep Singh with 20 kg of heroin. In the same case, Sandeep Singh has been in Ludhiana jail for about two years and the accused Gurpreet arrested by the ATF is the brother of Sandeep Singh who is in jail.

According to information, the international market value of the recovered heroin is said to be around Rs 6 crore.

Giving information about the case, ATF DSP Ajay Kumar said that Sandeep Singh had hidden heroin in his house, which the accused Gurpreet alias Titu was slowly taking out and supplying.

The DSP said that based on the information received, the accused was arrested along with 1 kg 20 grams of heroin when he was going to supply the drug. He said that the accused have been produced in the court and further action has been initiated.
