Important decisions taken in Punjab Cabinet Meeting, amendment in fire safety rules; Enhanced Allowance of Family Court Counselors

Punjab Cabinet Meeting: After about five months, the Punjab Cabinet meeting was held on Wednesday. It was decided in the meeting that the Monsoon Session of the Punjab Legislative Assembly will begin from September 2, which will continue till September 4. All laws passed so far in the session will be approved. In the same meeting, the amendment in the Punjab Fire Safety Rules has been approved.

Now people will have to get fire safety related NOC after three years instead of every year. It was being demanded for a long time. The recruitment rules of the fire department will be amended. Recruitment norms will be eased and relaxed especially for women.

So that they can also join the fire department easily. Because the old rules were in force for a long time. This was said by Punjab Finance Minister Harpal Singh Cheema and Aman Arora during a press conference. He said that many decisions have been taken in the meeting.
