Selection of teachers for training begins in Finland

The Punjab School Education Department has started the selection process for primary and elementary teachers to be sent for training at the University of Turku, Finland. Regarding this, Punjab School Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains said that the second batch of 72 primary and elementary teachers (BPEOs, CHTs, HTs) will be sent to the University of Turku, Finland for training. During this three-week training program, one week of training will be given in Punjab and then two weeks of training will be in Finland. He said that the aspiring teachers can apply online on the department’s website till 5 pm on February 2. Mr. Bains said that the age of the candidates going for training should be 43 years or less as on January 31, 2025, while the age of HT, CHT and BPEO should not be more than 48 years.
