Phillor Police achieves major success; 3 accused arrested, 100 narcotic pills recovered during special operation

The Punjab Police is continuing its campaign to eradicate drugs from Punjab and make it drug-free. Under this, many drug smugglers have been arrested by conducting raids at many places and a consignment of drugs has also been seized.

In the course of this campaign, during a special operation led by Phillaur Sub-Division Deputy Superintendent of Police Sarwan Singh Bal (PPS), the team of Phillaur Police Station In-charge Inspector Sanjeev Kapoor arrested 3 drug smugglers and recovered 100 narcotic pills from their possession.

The arrested smugglers include Baljit Kaur, a resident of Santokhpura, Ladi and Pappi, residents of Nangal. During the initial investigation, it was found that these smugglers were secretly supplying drugs for a long time and cases have been registered against them under the NDPS Act. The police have taken the remand of the smugglers and started further investigation.
